# Earn

## What Earn will be

The staking layer of Lunya, designed around three ideas:

* **Real revenue, in real assets** — stakers are paid from protocol fees in the assets those fees were earned in, not just in emissions
* **Exits are a choice, not a lock** — leave immediately at a cost, or gradually for free; what early leavers forfeit goes to those who stay
* **Governance that pays** — stakers direct liquidity incentives across exchange pools, and protocols compete for those votes with incentives of their own

A liquid, auto-compounding version of the staked position (**x33**) will make the whole loop passive for those who want it.
