# Raise

> Where projects run token sales

<Warning>
  Raise is in development and not yet live on testnet. This page describes the design; details will be completed when the surface ships.
</Warning>

## What Raise is

Raise is where projects run **token sales** on Lunya: a project raises in **dollars**, on terms it defines for its own sale — price, allocation, schedule.

It is a separate product from the [launchpad](/launch/how-it-works). The launchpad is one fixed mechanism for everyone — bonding curve, transfer gate, locked-liquidity graduation. Raise is infrastructure for a sale whose terms are the project's own.

## How Raise differs from the launchpad

|           | Launchpad                             | Raise                                 |
| --------- | ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| Pricing | Bonding curve, same for every launch | Terms set by the project for its sale |
| Raised in | The curve's pair asset                | Dollars (USDC)                        |
| Liquidity | Graduates into a locked exchange pool | Defined by the sale's own terms |

<Warning>
  The liquidity locker is the **launchpad's** mechanism only. Sales on Raise define their own terms and do **not** graduate into locked liquidity — do not assume the launchpad's lock applies to a sale.
</Warning>

## No endorsement

Lunya provides the infrastructure for sales — it does **not** review, select, endorse, or recommend any project or sale hosted on Raise. A sale appearing on the platform is not advice to participate in it. The terms of each sale are set by the project running it: read them, and evaluate the project, yourself.

<Info>
  Sale mechanics and participation details will be published here when Raise goes live.
